    Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to use Raxha?

You need an iPhone running iOS 15.1 or later and an Apple Watch running watchOS 10 or later. Both devices must be paired via Bluetooth.

Why isn't my watch connecting to my iPhone?

Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on both devices, the watch is paired in the Apple Watch app, and both apps (Raxha on iPhone and Raxha on Watch) are installed and up to date. Try force-quitting both apps and relaunching them.

How do I add emergency contacts?

Open the Raxha app on your iPhone and tap My Circle on the Home screen. Tap Emergency Contacts (or Add Member if you already have a circle) to add or manage your emergency contacts.

Does Raxha record or upload my audio?

Raxha never records or stores your audio. By default, audio is analyzed in real time entirely on your Apple Watch and discarded immediately. You can optionally turn on Cloud Voice Detection (off by default) — when enabled, a few seconds of audio may be securely sent to our speech-processing providers during an emergency to better detect a spoken call for help. That audio is processed transiently to produce a danger signal and is not stored by us or those providers. You can turn the feature off anytime in Settings to keep all audio analysis on-device.

How do I trigger an emergency alert manually?

Open the Raxha app on your Apple Watch. On the monitoring screen, slide the "Slide for Help" control to the right (like turning off an iPhone). A 10-second countdown will begin — tap Cancel if it was accidental. After the countdown, your location and alert will be sent to your emergency contacts.

Can I delete my account and data?

Yes. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. Contact us at admin@raxha.app to request account deletion, or use the in-app option if available.
